Active Internet Connection Required
Your ibi cannot be accessed using the ibi mobile app, the ibi Desktop app, or web browser access using ibi.sandisk.com without an active Internet connection. Please ensure your ibi is connected to a Internet facing router with an active Internet connection.
Power Cycle Network Hardware
- Reboot or Power Off and On your router.
- Power Off and On your mobile phone.
- Toggle mobile phone Blue Tooth Off and On again.
- Verify if the connection issue has been resolved.
Network Router Secure Access Firewall and Parental Controls
Network routers with built in Secure Access Firewalls or Parental Controls may be enabled or set at a setting that does not allow traffic to and from your ibi device.
- Set router Secure Access Firewalls or Parental Controls to the lowest possible setting.
Test connectivity to your ibi device again - If the lowest settings does not resolve the issue, temporarily turn off or disable Secure Access Firewalls or Parental Controls. Test connectivity to your ibi device again.

Network Router DHCP Reservation
Configure DHCP Reservation on the network router hosting your ibi to prevent the IP address from changing.

Configure the router or gateway to use Google Public DNS Servers.

ibi UPnP Port Assignments
Universal Plug and Play ( UPnP ) allows networked equipment such as personal computers, printers, Internet gateways, Wi-Fi access points, mobile devices, and your ibi to seamlessly discover each other's presence on the network. UPnP is intended primarily for residential networks.
