How do I find a specific photo or video on my ibi?

There are lots of ways to track down a file on your ibi. Whether you're looking for a photo someone shared with you, a video you backed up from your phone, it's easy to find a specific file:

Check recent activity
Go into the Inner Circle tab to see recently shared files.

Browse all content
Go into the Photos tab to see all files you've added and all files others have shared with you. Scroll down the list of files, or tap on the headings All, Photos, or Videos to see only those types of files. Photos & videos are sorted by the date you took them, and you'll see groups like July 2018 with all files from that time period.

Browse with Tags
In your ibi Mobile App:
  1. Tap on a photo
  2. Tap on More at the bottom right hand corner of the screen
  3. Tap on Info
  4. Tap on Tags
  5. Tap on the tag to see all related files and photos
NOTE: Searching by tags is NOT available via the ibi Desktop App.
User created tags are NOT supported.

Browse Albums
Go into the Albums tab to see files you and others have organized.

Browse Files & Folders
Tap the icon in the upper left corner and choose Files & Folders. Tap on each folder to view files and sub-folders in it.

Use text search
Tap on the search icon in the upper right corner (web & mobile apps), or click on the ibi app icon in the system tray (desktop app). Start typing in the search bar and you'll see search results come back. You can search by file name ("vacation", "home", "2018"), location ("Hawaii", "Canada"), date ("July", "2018"), and camera model ("Samsung", "iPhone").

Use Collections
Tap on the search icon in the upper right corner on the web or mobile app. ibi groups your memories automatically based on location and object(s) that share similarities.
