Setting up Roku Service on your ibi

Install ibi Channel

ibi channel installation on your Roku steps below:

  1. Click on “Streaming Channels” from Roku’s main menu
  2. Click on “Search Channels”
  3. Type “ibi”
  4. Click on ibi
  5. Click on “Add Channel”
  6. This will add channel to your available apps and will show up in “Home”


Viewing Content

ibi channel viewing steps below:

  1. Make sure Roku and ibi are on the same network
  2. Open ibi app
  3. Click on “Login” button
  4. Enter Username and password of ibi account
  5. You are all set to enjoy memories


Playback Support

Supported Image Types:

  • PNG
  • JPG
  • GIF(non-animated)

Supported Video Codecs:

  • H.264/AVC (.MKV, .MP4, .MOV, .M4V)
  • 4K H.265/HEVC (.MKV, .MP4, .MOV)
  • 4K H.264
  • VP9 with webm container

Supported Audio Codecs:

  • AAC, MP3, WMA, WAV (PCM), AIFF, FLAC, ALAC, AC3

    NOTES:
  • Multichannel AAC is not supported on all Roku models. Roku TVs, Roku 4, and Roku Ultra set-top-boxes support multichannel decode to PCM stereo.
  • Roku TVs and Roku Ultra can decode AC3 and E-AC3, except for Roku Ultra 4660X which cannot decode AC3. All other Roku devices will do passthrough to the receiving device. Roku Ultra supports the latest Dolby technologies such as Dolby Atmos and System Sound Mixing (MS12).

Unsupported Audio/Video Codecs:

  • Video codecs/containers not mentioned like mpeg, mpeg4, vc1, .avi, .flv, .vob etc are not supported. There will be a message "This video could not be played as video codec is not supported."
  • Audio codecs that are not supported an error message is displayed "Unsupported audio codec. You may experience audio issues." On some videos even though the audio codec is supported may also show this message.
