Your ibi supports importing and exporting data to and from a USB device connected via the USB port on the back of the ibi.
ibi supports external USB devices using the following file systems
- FAT
- FAT32
- exFAT *Not Recommended
- NTFS *Recommended
- HFS (Mac OS)
- HFS+ (Mac OS Extended)
- HFS+J (Mac OS Extended Journaled)
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- ibi cannot be connected directly to a computer using the USB port. The USB port on your ibi is designed for importing and exporting data to USB devices only.
- USB drives connected to ibi cannot be seen or accessed using a Windows or macOS computer
- The USB port on ibi does not support mobile phones, tablets or digital camera
- Only the 1st drive will be detached if a USB Hub with more than one USB drive is connected.
- ibi cannot mount password protected USB drives. The password must be removed.
- Only the 1st partition is recognized and mounted when the USB drive has more than one partition.
- 3.5" Internal hard drive USB adapters and docking stations are not supported
