ibi supports the thumbnail preview and creation of added content.

IMPORTANT NOTES
- Thumbnails for Audio files are only supported if the file contains a supported embedded image
- Thumbnails for Document files are only supported if the file contains a supported embedded image
- RAW images that do not contain an embedded thumbnail image are not processed by the media crawler
- RAW images that contain JPEG or TIFF embedded images will be extracted and a thumbnail created
- Some file types that have thumbnails cannot be opened. For details, please see File type is not supported "open in" message
- Audio files, documents such as Word, Excel, Power Point or other files can be added to ibi and shared, however, the thumbnail generation, preview and the ability to open files in the ibi web and mobile are limited to specific file types listed in the tables below.
