IMPORTANT NOTE: Dragging the Photos Library.photolibary file to ibi will not allow the viewing of photo or video content in the ibi mobile or web app.
Manual Drag and Drop
- Download the ibi desktop app and sign in
- Open Finder and go to the photos and video that you want to put onto ibi
- Select the photos and videos
- Drag and drop or copy and paste the content to ibi
- Do not allow the macOS to sleep during the transfer process
Export Orginals from Photo Library to ibi
- Download the the ibi desktop app and sign in
- Open the macOS Photos app
- Select the photos and video you want to back up
- Go to the File menu
- Select Export > Export Unmodified Original For # Photos or Videos or Export # Photos or Video
- Select an option for File Name and Subfolder Format, and then input your text as desired
- Press Export
- Choose the ibi desktop mounted drive
- Press Export Originals
- Do not allow the macOS to sleep during the export process
