ibi is offline after system erase or 60 second pin reset

ibi has a solid white LED (not blinking) but is offline when performing a setup after System Erase or 60+ Second Pin Reset has been done.


Your ibi account may still be associated with the previous ibi unique ID before the erase or reset.


  1. Open a browser and go to ibi.sandisk.com and sign in
  2. Click the 3-line Menu icon located in the upper left of the screen or open the browser window in full screen mode
  3. Click Settings
  4. Click on the ibi under CURRENT STORAGE
  5. Click on DETACH FROM THIS DEVICE
  6. Click on DETACH FROM THIS DEVICE on the following page to verify you really want to detach from your ibi
  7. Sign Out of the ibi mobile, web and desktop app and sign in again.
  8. If ibi is still offline, Contact Support with the email address used for your ibi account.
