Cannot detect ibi during the setup process

The ibi setup process uses Bluetooth for connectivity. If the setup process is not finding ibi, the troubleshooting screens in the ibi mobile app guide you through the auxiliary(SoftAP) setup mode process..

  1. Ensure ibi is plugged into a wall outlet instead of a power strip and the LED is solid white
  2. Reboot the mobile phone
  3. Turn Blue Tooth Off and On again on the mobile phone
  4. Open the ibi mobile app on your phone
  5. Turn ibi upside down and locate the tiny pin hole reset button
  6. Press and hold the reset button for no more than 29 seconds.
    During this function the ibi device will enter an auxiliary setup mode indicated by a "Slow Breathing" LED, enabling ibi to temporarily become a wireless access point and broadcast its own Service Set Identifier “ibi™ – XXXXXX” as the SSID. This process allows you to connect to ibi directly with your mobile device via Wi-Fi and continue the setup process.
  7. Follow the on screen instructions of the mobile app to continue the setup of your ibi
